Visitors to Wilton Shopping Village may notice an even friendlier than usual welcome as we introduce our lovely village greeter, Emma Adamson.
A Salisbury native, Emma is on hand to provide help and advice for visitors – whether they’re wondering where to eat or where they can pick up the perfect gift for a loved one.
When it comes to indulging in a little retail therapy its shoes and accessories that are her bag and she is looking forward to showing off her formidable shoes and scarves collection.
One of her favourite sayings is, “you can’t buy happiness, but you can buy shoes…and that’s sort of the same thing”.
Asking about her favourite styles and trends, Emma explains that she’s a fully paid up vintage aficionado, saying: “I prefer vintage styling to the modern look…clean, sleek looks, fishtail skirts, tea dresses, swing dresses, sweetheart necklines and cropped trousers”.
When not at Wilton Shopping Village, Emma is busy running around after her two young children and her other two ‘babies’, adorable pups Wicket and Betty.
On her new role, Emma says:
“I’m a real people person; I love helping others and trying to brighten their day. I hope I’ll be able to do my bit to make sure all visitors get just what they need out of their visit to the village. And, of course, I hope that with the combination of my help, the support of the fantastic staff here and the great range of retailers we have, they have such a good time that they keep returning to us time and time again”.
